Hi, I’m Steven Sainato, But you can call me Steve.

Counseling has been quite an adventure for me. I have worked with adults, teens, students, and professionals helping them through a variety of issues such as OCD, depression, relationships, boundaries, trauma and more. Going through my own healing journey as well as guiding others has been a very rewarding and fascinating endeavor. It’s amazing to see how diverse everyone’s process is. I strive to help clients see themselves in a new way in order to realize there is a different path than the one they’ve always taken.

With over 4 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve worked in a number of diverse settings as a social worker and a therapist including community mental health, private practice, and more recently, seminary counseling. I hold dual master’s degrees including a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.

I am happily married living in Dallas, TX and hail originally from an Italian family in Western PA. Outside of being a therapist, I enjoy playing the guitar and banjo as well as gaming, so if you have any game or music recommendations I’m all ears! More importantly, I hope to be able to walk through the challenges of your life with you so that you can discover the life you were made for.
